WTCC goes to the Nürburgring in 2015!

Eurosport has made it official, for the first time since 1983, the 'Ring will be part of the 2015 WTCC calendar, as a three year deal has been signed between WTCC and the local ADAC.

Instead of WTCC's usual format of two 60km (37mi) races, the organisers will hold one 120km / 6 laps race.

Just to make it clear: it's the frist time WTCC will go to the Nordschleife, what you're talking about is the first ever World Championship event happening at the track since the 1983 Nürburgring 1000km, part of the World Sportscar Championship (equivalent of today's World Endurance Championship).
